Founder, Jessica Golding, holds an MSc in Art History, Art Law and Art Business from Christie’s, London, graduating with distinction. Before founding VERSO, she worked with a variety of world-class institutions and private advisory firms such as Christie’s, London and Arianne Piper Advisory, London as well as art establishments in South Africa.

 

With many years of experience she has built strong relationships with galleries, curators, artists, museums, and collectors. With specialist skills and an expert understanding of European, United Kingdom and American markets as well as being well-versed in the African market she has worked with prestigious private clients and estates across the globe, curating, advising, and managing their collections with discretion, with a focus on collection sharing, strategic partnerships, creative direction and development in art businesses. Goldring is passionate about celebrating art from across the globe and through fostering relationships with top international institutions she has the unique advantage of securing partnerships and loans for clients to promote visibility of their artworks. Fully entrenched in the art circuit she has travelled to most major Art Fairs and biennials including Frieze; Artissima; Manifesta; Venice Biennale; Tokyo Art Fair; Cape Town Art Fair and Joburg Art Fair. 

With the use of her expert knowledge of historical, post-war and contemporary art and her specialist skills in art-business, she meticulously builds collections with both aesthetic as well as critical market considerations in mind. Alongside her team, Goldring is dedicated to meeting her clients’ art-business needs and helping them build and manage their lifetime legacies with excellence.
